It's fine, but when you compare it to the only real other market competitor, Volcano Princess, it falls short.

The game itself is similar, you are given a "daughter" (who you can choose). and you select which events she undergoes, which will affect her skills, connections, and eventual future. The music is fine and the art is cute. There's no voice acting, but that's fine; Volcano Princess didn't have voice acting either.

But it just doesn't have the same vibes going. The event scenes are super minimal and don't feel like they tie into any greater or fun story. I'm okay with the randomized experience, but the actual skills and build up don't feel satisfying. I can't put my finger on it, but it just doesn't scratch the same itch.

It's still a recommend, though maybe at a deep discount, or if you're really hungering for games like these. But I can't say I like it, and I'm not sure I'll finish even one path, despite how much it promises.

Initially at the start it seemed like a complex skill tree that would dictate the future course of your game but the game boils down to a clicking simulator where if you're lucky enough you can max out all your stats.

Many of the purchasable items aren't exactly worth the cost unless you got lucky in hitting a SSS for gold. For example the cat that cost 400 gives you 22-30~ gold per day, but the game doesn't tell you can only activate 1 cat a day. SO buying another cat was a waste of money.

Also, the "boost financial interest" items take way too long to accumulate their value back. The 1k item gives you around a 9% boost to gold gain from working.

Many of the choices for itemization didn't feel well planned out or impactful enough that defeated the purpose of saving so much for them. Unbeknownst to me that simply hitting one SSS gives you either 1000 gold or full stamina back.

I played as Cordelia and I don't know if the other characters have more expansive stories, however events felt barebones and lacked substance to push any type of narrative forward. Many of the dialogues consisted of less than a few sentences that didn't really make me care any more about the character I was raising or the NPCs.

Game has nice art and it's interesting that there's 4 different character that each have unique events, but I have doubts any of them are that well written or fleshed out.

Had pretty high hopes on this because it's one of my favorite genre and it's Ooyari Ashito on the illust (and on writing, by looking at credits).
Sadly, I'm very disappointed in what is being shipped.

Standard raising sim, pick a training/work for each week to grind stat and raise relationship stat with others.
No exploration part, no tournaments, no nothing, not evenhas more depth. There is no challenge here, you just need to pick any choice, no matter what the order. You couldn't go wrong.

It's so piss easy that no matter what you do, on the endgame you'll have so many stat it doesnt even matter.
The only "challenge" is getting money and managing stamina. (saying it's a challenge is a big overstatement, honestly)

Main story: Non-existent
Route story: So very simple and since no conflict happening, it's not interesting at all
Character story: ehh, kinda? There's some characterization for some of the more notable friend NPCs like but it's so basic that it honestly doesnt matter.

The story tries to be so, so very hard to be safe any inkling of a conflict is just being turned over the next line.

• Im gonna make you a mistress in exchange for donation, whoops jk you're so selfless I won't do it.
  
• You're so cute I'm going to recruit you to my brothel! yeah nvm
  
• Kid, this is a criminal den in a slum, but we're not going to anything to you go home
  
• Booo, im a sealed demon inside a mask, im going to take revenge! oh but not you, im gonna contract you and teach you stuff
  
• And tons of encounter with (what appears to be) unsavory character, then it turns out that they're crybaby/hit their knee/totally fine etc etc

It's so safe i dont even think there's a bad end/evil end, and i don't think i care enough to find out
in the end the only thing that can even spark any controversies is the usagi drop end, but atp who cares really. Edit: there is technically a you did nothing end, the tower. but you probably have to go out of your way if that's the only end you get in your playthrough. I dunno if i want to check if there's other bad end, every ending i check is like 3 minute of unskippable ending screen with just a cg and some lines of dialog.

Honestly this game feels like half a game that they want but they ran out of time or budget or something and just shipped it as is.
With how much recent disappointments in this genre (PM's remake drama, this, even bad localization in volcano princess) maybe its time i finally admit this genre's dead already *sigh*
Guess I'll just boot up my lawyer advised i legally remove this title from my review again

but honestly why even censor standard swimsuits? slight panchiras? and even adding the patch from the JAST website only added some extra costume that honestly doesnt matter.
Like brother, you have tons of DLSite games on steam front page, with titles overtly more degen than this, this level of slight fanservice shouldnt even be censored.


Edit: after doing 1 more route and couple more endings. does my opinion improved? no, not really. But after I simmer down for a bit i remember there's still ikuseige outside thats actually p well received like chinese parent, volcano princess (when are you going to fix the TL, VP devs?), heck, uma and shinymas is also technically ikuseige.

Anyway, if you have read until this far and still want to buy this somehow, think of this not as a raising sim, but a dress and CG collect-athlon without any stories, you'll maybe have a better experience than mine.
