Is it possible to map a stick direction on a Quest controller to a button press?

I've been banging my head on the Steam VR remapper for a few hours trying to do this. Googling has given me no straight answers on if this is possible or how to do it.

Is this possible? And if so, how do I set it up?

Never tried it myself, but you could try OpenVR2Key and see if that works.

That is so close thanks! But I need the controller to send button input not keyboard input.

I'm mainly trying to get stick up to send stick button press.
